2022 SHE-Com Product Awards

SHE-com by e-commerce Queen, Lisa Jones of Eco-originals fame, may be the new kid on the block when it comes to female business communities, but it is the fastest growing, most supportive, educational and celebratory movement for female founder businesses in recent times.

In 2022, the inaugural SHE-com Awards event was hosted at the gorgeous QT Hotel on the Gold Coast, Queensland to celebrate and honor outstanding achievements of women led e-commerce businesses, and attracted over 350 nominations across 70 categories. HUGE!

Having never applied for business or product awards prior to this, I had little idea what I should write or what products to send. It was all very last minute for me in the end, submitting a Pop Culture Storybook character doll and a Mermaid doll which I had here in the studio.

The judging process was intricately hands on, with each product being judged on overall merit including written application, product quality, finish, function and presentation.

The SHE-com judging panel consisted of esteemed business women in the Australian e-commerce industry and are experts in their field. They included:

I was beyond excited and so extremely proud when my handmade dolls were shortlisted as finalist entries in both of the major categories entered - Handmade Product of the Year & Australian Made Product of the Year. I was thrilled to receive the SILVER Editors Choice award for the Handmade Product of the Year category.
